This season’s semi-finals are among the hardest to predict in many years and, for that reason, I am looking forward to them a great deal.
The four sides involved have been the most consistent over the past nine months and deserve their shot at the title.
They are fascinating match-ups. Can anyone stop Leicester winning a third Aviva Premiership title on the bounce?
With the form they have showed recently and their ability to win big games in Europe, I can see Northampton possibly coming away from Leicester on Saturday with a memorable triumph.
That is not to say I think the Saints actually will beat my old club. I think it will be close but I can see the Tigers winning by seven tomorrow (worth 5-1, Ed).
I think they have too much fire-power and people who can win the game single-handedly.
Scrum-half Ben Youngs can score from anywhere and is, in my opinion, the most dangerous player in the tournament and outside of him, fly-half Toby Flood is the best No.10 in the league on his day.
On the wing, Alesana Tuilagi can score from anywhere and his brother Manu is incredibly powerful and has made plenty of metres with some awesome carries this season.
Saints may be in good form but Leicester have been there before so many times and won their last eight semi-finals. They will be fired up for this. Big time.
